I have some nitrocellulose powder and was wondering if anyone knows how to make nitro lac with it as far as ounces to a quart of acetone

has anyone used potassium dichromate to increase burn rate of colored stars(pot perc) are there any incompatabilities with it

I just got some free nitrocellulose solid 12% what kind of uses does this stuff have

I was debating about getting a 3?4" cavity pump from rich wolter to pump glitter mixes and then fill with colored stars ect.But I dont know if the cavities are big enough to fit stars and break charge.Has anybody had experience with any of these.

I tried something a little different the other day.It was like a waterfall but I used a glitter formula instead.When I tried burning dlitter mixes in paper tuber the effect was pretty much ruined from the paper ashing up so then i tried using plastic straws and that worked really good,and besides that it probably stopped moisture from entering.What I did was get some straws and wrap tape around one end to seal it off.then I mix up some d1 glitter and tamp it into the tubes until about full. Then I got a board about 10 feet long and hot glued a bunch of them on that 6 inches apart so they were all facing down.The next step was quickmatching them all together and taping over that so the comp cant fall out, pretty easy project and everybody loved it.
