Ok, perhaps he wrote 60% by mistake. Both alloys will be good for me anyways, 70% is probably a tint brighter. The fines will perhaps be good for hot primes and such.

I Bought some FeTi off the guy on Ebay and did a small test just mixed loose with BP in a tube

I have been in contact with the ebay-seller too and will perhaps buy some of the FeTi. He mentioned some FeTi which contained 60% Ti which was 0-2mm. Is this the same stuff? Were there much fines in it? I am mostly interested in larger granules, about 10-40 mesh.

Thanks a lot for the info, EnigmaticBiker. I'll check his prices.

I wonder how this stuff is to crush in smaller bits. If it is just small granules that are lumped, it should be possible. But solid pieces of metal will propably not be easily crushable.

If a finer grade of FeTi (40-325 mesh) is used, the effect is a smaller delay and a fuller tail with shorter duration. The effect is really nice, almost like an Al gold-flitter star only that the head is not as bright.
