Health And Safety At Work Training Course Places Available

11 January 2008 - 08:29 PM

FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE.

Da boss is organising a 4 Day first aid at work course near Tonbridge in Kent from this comming Monday to Thursday. Unfortunatly some people have pulled out and there are 4 spaces available. The course would usually be £290 but to fill the places he's looking for £200 (Which MAY be negotiable if all 4 spaces are filled or if you are a good cause with little money e.g. a student ) which includes a cooked lunch on all 4 days. BASIC (caravan's) accomodation is available FREE on site or there is a hotel not far away. Course is from 09.30-16.30 except for the last day which will finish at 6PM due to the addition af a special talk on burns treatment from a burns specialist (this is not in the normal First Aid at Work course most people run) hence this course is of particular interest to pyro's. Also at the begining of Feb we MAY have some free spaces available for a 3 Day ADR course if anyones interested?

Regards.

Hi anybody here working on the legoland fireworks this Sunday? I'm probably taking my nephews down there so if any one wan'ts to say hi/put names to faces that would be cool. BTW which company has the gig? I have a feeling it's either Pyrovision or Kimbolton?

Choosing A Commercial Firing System

05 October 2007 - 06:02 PM

I've been told by Da Boss that we have some money available to buy a brand new digital firing system :D We've initially narrowed it down to :-

1)Fire One
2)Pyrodigital (maybe in conjunction with Shellscape's 'matrix' system)
3)Pyromate Digital Nighthawk...

Anyone know of any other contenders we should consider (want to avoid multicore, i.e. greater than 4 wire cable) ? Also we're probably able to get a Fireone to try out, I don't personally know much about the Pyrodigital/Matrix system (The boss saw it at a trade day) and I quite like the look of the nighthawk system but don't know anyone in the UK using one? Anyone here use either Pyrodigital, Matrix or Nighthawk who could let me know what they think (or even better could we come and have a look at it?)

Cheers.
