I had my mother calling me to the window after my awesome 10minute madness was over. It was the old lady from next door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted Image

ALthough she has sometimes been quite annoying and whiny (her husband is sound), she wanted to congratulate me on the best display she has ever seen. Plus if I was planning on doing one for the opening of 2012 then she would like to contribute and come around Posted Image Posted Image

Otherwise for me there were some OOOh's and AAAAh's from further down the lane, glad I kept people entertained.

Mostly from Epic, but some sovereign cakes and a nice Absolute Radiant from Dave @ A40. Display should last about 8mins as there are plenty of doubles in there plus I will be firing with overlaps using my trusty new Excel blowtorch, and have ever planned out where they wil go in the garden.

My highlight this year was picking up x6 King Hells from Epic, which caused quite a stir with the workers there. Seeing all 6 let off simultaneously at the pre-GFN meet last week was something to behold!

In Topic: Proton Bomb & Flashing Thunder

Still same but with 3 star burst at the end... very loud!



Picked up a Nightstar 16 shot proton bomb (rebadged Bright Star) and will give it a go. Very unlikely to be like the days of the old 2 shots proton bombs that crack prison walls, but should still be good for £7.
