Lifes crazy!
you either put up w/ hours of sh#t to get 30 minutes of pleasure "or atleast in my case"
Or you get everything you want and die by age 20

On the legal effects of spousal disputes Men are screw'd if the woman says a
peep about being OR feeling unsafe even if its bs!
I had a friend loose all his hunting/firearms/and firework privlidges over a false claim even though he got a lawyer and spent $ 10,000 and many a day in court
He was with her 4 years before getting to know her DEVIL BITCH side as he put it.
She attacked him pushed him into a closet scratched his eye and face and scratched her own forehead when the shelf fell on them. he called the cops but when they got their he went to jail from her scratch as she said it was from him.

WE NEED TO BE EXTRA RESPONSIBLE IN OUR ARTS AS THE RULES CHANGE OR CAN CHANGE ON A DIME AND THE PICTURE THATS LEFT FOR OTHERS TO SEE IS NOT WHAT SHOULD BE SEEN. In this case he would have faced more problems if he had not had proof of intention
regarding supplies`

THINK ABOUT THAT

You need wadding, IMO
You can try making a good seal w/ cardboard to protect chute , like a circle below the cord and wadding to act as a gasket.
Ive had great success w/ low eject charges this way.

In Topic: What type of glue you lot use for making tubes?

Another thing to think about is card stock. It is the stuff greeting cards and what not are made from. They come in normal sized sheets, A4 I think. Standard computer paper size. I think I've also seen it in larger sheets. It is approximatly the same thickness as manilla folders. I do believe about 100lb in US measurement. I don't know the metric equivalent off the top of my head, sorry. 5x whatever computer paper thickness is.

One more if you care to try, I use heavy construction paper normally 65#is its rating.
I use white glue then dip in Minwax woodhardner. Ive made a few tubes this way and they work very well, better then more turns or thicker walls . The wall thickness is only 1mm + .
Ive used epoxy before but it is to brittle, it creates small sharp shards of glue . Too danerous!
but the woodhardner works and doesnt create the hazards. give it a try you wont be sorry.
I think I got this info from skylighter's newsletter some time ago now.

Hope this helps

In Topic: Lair on fire

Well I know I have not posted in a while and will try to correct that, but i just whanted to let every one know I had a very serius set back in my life. I live in a moble home, kind of a low income houseing here, Well my careless nieghbor caught his moble home on fire, by the time the fire department arived his place was totaly ablaze and started my home on fire as well. Since the fire invstigator knew what my hobby was they placed extra caution on my home , they did manage to save half my home home and allmost all of my pryo suppies survuived the fire, even still I may be out of the hobby for a little while, my press was badly damaged, most of my electronics are damaged but amazingly 5 of my stick rockets survived and allmost all of my chemicals survived, having items in water tight containers paid off in this instance very well.
anyway i will add more in the future and the salvage of my beloved lair is going to be very painfull.

thisn is the news post http://www.livingsto...=73251325192615

my home is the one with the red jeep in front, the bumper and treim was melted away but the thing still drives fine

Wow,Glad your ok ! I'm also glad the chems made it! The last thing we need is more bs regarding chems right now! And you know they would have made a big deal out of it! Did you use rubbermaid tubs for storage? I had a flood where some of my mats were, rubermaid saved the day! I found the tubs floating 3 feet off floor lol. also did they know your hobby via you informing them or from other sources ie internet etc ? My neighbors house caught fire years ago and the firemen took their time setting up, Our house would have caught fire if I hadnt used our garden hose to stop it.The paint was blistering off siding and trim was charing I had to beg them to spray my house first too. I didnt have mats then, but I know why I keep my storage 100' from my house now! hope things improve for you! stay green! ................... Pc

In Topic: Starting firework company

Yeah I srongly believe to be a good pyro takes a special type of person, ive bin covered in mud up to my knees, slept in the back of the van with the spent fireworks and smelly racks, worked in the rain for 2 days in a row, it is one of the hardest jobs to do I believe and I wouldnt miss for the world, and yes the pay can be crap but jus to hear those cheers at the end of the show really makes it for me, the buzz I get from lighting all those shells is undescribable, the buzz is even better now than when I started in pyro.

Yes I think if you love pyro, love to light shells,And have great work ethic,Plus dont mind people that dont understand why you do your job ,being the ones involved w/ permits, litigation etc.. Yes you should at minimum involve your self deeply into pyro business,we will all apreciate it. We need dedicated ,honest ,hardworking people to invest in our industry! Anyone who realizes whats involved and still wants to get in should! I love the work too!, I wouldnt do it if I didnt! not for the pay ,endless knowledge and skill obtainable,Or personal risks . I think more people might start comps if the learning curve was less, and business sucsess was insured. Pc.
