fireproofing paper for spooletts

17 May 2005 - 05:01 PM

Ive been working on some small shells 2 and 3" and want to make some spooletts to try instead of my improvised visco method I ve been using for timefuse.
I know water glass can be used for fireproofing yet its expensive and I dont have any, so I 'm wondering what I can soak or paste on paper to help it stand up to bp heat on thin spooletts?

Thanks

Explosion at firework plant in uk?

06 November 2004 - 12:45 AM

Last night I was watching TV "while I rolled tubes" and I saw huge explosions from a fireworks plant I think was in the UK , Anyways it looked intense to say the lease, they had footage of a older woman tring to run into a police station as multiple shock waves almost knocked her down ,all the time brocades and willows were going off all over in the sky
and backround .
Any one else see this or know anything of it ?
It sure made me think about how important safe storeage of whistle mix/etc. is !java script:emoticon(':o')
