Does anybody know when the Garden Direct website is going to be back up on the web? I would like to order some KNO3 to make some B.P but dont know the price. Does anybody know the price? Also if anybody has their 'interesting chemical' price list on their computer, could you send it be E-Mail or post it on the forum please.

Got them, they are like small dark green balls (sounds painfull) crushed them in a coffee grinder but seem to burn the same when used in bp

I think the goverment know what we are doing and are watching the forum. The only reason why they don't arrest us is because they see that we are being responsible. However, if they get a complaint then they will get involved IMHO.

Not sure it's too sensible to order it all together!! You can easily get sulphur from any garden center and if you're really cautious go to another for your charcoal.

Kn03 isn't as readily available in the garden centers as it used to be, simply I think because its not a good seller and the general public like to see things like "super fantastic tomato fertiliser" on the box, other than potassium nitrate. Farmers however know better.
