I have seen those Glass Fibre tubes on there site they only go up to 6"? But i may give them a ring and see if they do other sizes...

Rob, depends what your firing but this is what I would do.

Lay a few bits of 2x4 under the mortar tube base, this gives a nice solid bottom to rest on. Once done you can steak 4 times around the tube and secure with very strong tape or better still those rachet straps. Secure top middle and bottom, lets hope you dont get a hotspot! woo wooo!
