The society is in the process of setting up a Documentation and Legislation committee comprised of a number of members with a view to liaising with the HSE about MSER clarification and possibilities of amendments.
Similar efforts are being made with Police firearms officers. Ultimately we intend to put together a definitive guidance document once we have all the facts and have made our case to the HSE et al. One of our members has already had encouraging discussions and we hope to have further news shortly about the new committee.
